PAST SPECIAL EVENTS
Gateway School Spelling Bee
Special children from Years One to Six
were chosen to take part in the first Gateway Primary
School Spelling Bee. The Spelling Bee was
organised to improve the spelling of children involved,
as a chance to earn points for their house and to
encourage team spirit within houses.
Two children from each year group
competed in the Spelling Bee and all earned points for
their houses.
The results were as follows
Years 3&4 - Leopards were the winners
Years 5&6 - Lions were the winners
Years 1&2 - Tigers were the winners
Congratulations to all the children who
participated - you have done a marvellous job for your
house!
Houses Comic Relief Afternoon

On Comic
Relief Day the children spent the afternoon in their
Houses with children from different Year groups carrying
out a number of different activities. The children had a
great afternoon working as a team to solve challenges,
create chants and produce posters for their Houses.
