School Meals
School dinners cost £1.65 per day (or £8.25 per week). Please
put money into a pink dinner money envelope (available at
the office) and hand to the office each Monday or Friday.
If you are in receipt of Income Support or Job Seeker's
Allowance, please bring proof into the office where an
application for
Free School Meals may be made. If your authority to
receive free school meals is not current or authorised,
you must pay for your child's school dinners. |
After School Clubs
Gateway Primary School runs a variety of clubs after
school to develop children's skills and interests in
certain areas. Due to the school expansion, the
number of clubs that we currently run has had to be
reduced, however more clubs will be started as soon as is
possible.

School Uniform
Governors are very aware that the cost of school uniform
can be a significant factor for families. Consequently
they have based our uniform policy on allowing the vast
majority of elements to be bought at a variety of local
shops. The school shop stocks a number of items of good
quality, from ethically sourced manufacturers. These items
are sold at or very close to cost.

Emergency Absence
We strongly believe that
holidays
should ONLY be taken during
the set official school vacation dates as full
attendance is vital for your child’s educational
progress. Holidays taken during term time, may result in your child
losing his/her place at
Gateway or a Penalty Notice of $50.
In exceptional
circumstances a request
for your child to be
absent from school may be considered. If
there is an emergency which requires your child to take
time from school you must apply in writing to the
Headteacher.
Please read the

before requesting an Emergency Absence.
