Healthy packed lunches:

It is important that you eat a healthy and tasty lunch at school so that your brain is ready to learn in the afternoons.  To get your brain ready to learn you need to make sure that you eat food from each of the healthy food groups and make sure you drink some water too. Look at the ideas below to see what delicious, healthy foods some of the children in reception have been eating.  Maybe it will give you some ideas for your own healthy packed lunch.

 

Salami sandwich, water, banana, fruit drink

Cheese spread sandwich, cheese strings, cucumber, clementine, fruit drink and cheese dippers.

Butter sandwich, banana, apple and fruit drink

Honey sandwich, yoghurt, fruit drink

Yoghurt drink, fruit drink, mango and apple pieces and pasta

Noodles, cheese strings, yoghurt drink and water
Well done to Bilal in Purple class who brought to school an almost perfect packed lunch: Salami and cheese sandwich, yoghurt, cheese strings, apple pieces, carrot sticks and fruit drink!

Not only is it healthy but it looks delicious too!
