RE in Key Stage 2

Children also learn about religion through key concepts in Years 3, 4, 5 and 6.  However, the concepts begin to get a little more complex, particularly in Years 5 and 6.  Some examples of these trickier topics are; Creation, Faith and Worship.  RE provides opportunities for detailed writing, drama and hot-seating, ICT, discussion and debates. 

The main religions taught within Key Stage 2 are:  Islam, Christianity and Hinduism.
