Emotional Development
At Gateway children are given the best
opportunities for developing their sense of self and belonging
within a community. Personal, Social and Emotional Development (P.S.E.D.)
is about knowing who you are and where you fit in to society. It
includes the children's emotional development, for example
confidence in a new setting and dealing with a range of situations,
as well as developing a sense of right and wrong and a positive
attitude to themselves as learners.
