Physical Development
Young children's physical development is inseparable from all
other aspects of development because they learn through being active
and interactive. Physical Development (P.D.) in the Foundation Stage
is about improving skills of co-ordination, control, manipulation
and movement. The activities that children take part in encourage
and develop these skills. Using both indoor and outdoor areas, we at
Gateway help to promote effective physical development, which helps
children develop a positive sense of well-being.
