Previous Special Exhibition

In Year 5 the children have been studying Pointillism. Pointillism is a painting technique whereby the artist uses small dots to build an image.  This technique was used by impressionists such as Monet and Seurat.

Here is some of the work Year five have done:

 

First they looked at some original pointillism work, this piece is by Duncan Grant. Then they looked at the local area to find inspiration for their own work.
