Children's Work at Gateway Primary School

Gateway Primary School Council
What is a school council?
It is a group of pupils who
represent all of the children in the school.
Why do we want one ?
So that our views and ideas are
listened to and we can have a say.
Who will
be in the school council?
There will be one responsible, reliable person
from each class in the school. The child will be
decided in a vote by other children in the class.
How will
it work?
That person will listen to your ideas, go to
school council meetings and feedback to the class.
The councillors will take the ideas from their classes,
about anything that they would like to change, to the
meetings. The councillors will share all of the ideas and
have a vote to decide what to work on first.
