Gateway
Primary School serves the children and families of the Lisson
Grove and Church Street areas of Westminster. It is a large,
very successful and very happy school where staff, children
and parents work hard and do the best they can.

Changes to the end of the day
As the school expands and our numbers grow changes will be
necessary in order to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all
our pupils. To this end we would like to change the
arrangements for collecting children at the end of the day.
Parents with children in Nursery, Reception, Year 1
and Year 2 will continue to
collect children at the end of the day.
Children in Year 3, Year 4, Year 5 and
Year 6 who collect brothers and sisters
from the classes mentioned above will continue to do so.
Other children will be escorted to the playground by their
class teachers where you will be able to collect them.
Parents with children in Year 3 and above should not
collect their children from the classroom. Should you need
to speak to your child's class teacher you are, of course,
most welcome to go to the classroom.
Thank you for your support.
Year 4 Football Tournament
Last week a Year 4 football team spent
the day at Paddington Rec. In the morning they were coached
by staff from Fulham Football Club. Then in the afternoon
they took part in a Westminster schools football tournament
with 17 other teams. After finishing top of their group and
winning their semi-final 1-0 on penalties Gateway narrowly
lost 0-1 in the final. This was the first time the year 4
team have competed together and they performed tremendously,
they have a very bright future. Well done!
